EC POWER was founded in Denmark in 1996 – a pioneer country in the field of energy transition and above all, of combined heat and power. Our company features a pioneering spirit and special innovative strength, as proven by more than 25 patents. This is the reason why we are not only the market leader in Europe for cogeneration plants in the performance range of 3 to 80 kWel, but we are also the technologically leading manufacturer in Europe.
At the headquarters in Hinnerup, Denmark, are the research and development divisions, production facility, and central warehouse. EC POWER established a branch in the USA in 2018 and opened its newest location in Smithfield, Rhode Island in 2023.
